We’re looking for someone to help us dress.
At the Coast Acoustics concert/open mic afternoons we’d like to put on a show.  We have a banner or two and backdrops that would look really good on the day and in the pictures that appear on line.

Would you be able to help? Just a visual tidy up of the backdrop and clip up the banner would take 10 minutes… anyone who could help please let us know

July 22nd Presidential Blues Band featured artist for the Open Mic Session

For July we have the Presidential Blues Band at our usual open mic venue, Country Paradise Parklands, 231 Beaudesert Nerang Road, Nerang.  The date is the 22nd of July. Open mic for members and guests from 1pm to 3:00pm, Presidential Blues Band concert from 3:30 till 4:30pm. Note the half hour earlier finishing time in place for the winter months.

The Presidential Blues Band are a 3 Piece Acoustic Blues Trio consisting of The “G-Man” on Double Bass & backing vocals, “Big D” on Resonator Guitar, stompbox & Vocals, and “Uncle Leon” on Harmonica & vocals. They play a mix of originals & covers typically in the style of old school early 1900’s Acoustic Delta Foot Stomping Blues. All 3 are very experienced musicians with 80+ years’ experience between them in Bands, Duo’s Trios & Solo. They originally formed 6 months ago as a Duo consisting of G Man & Big D and used to perform with a varied assortment of guest artists. But after hooking up with Uncle Leon recently, and the musical chemistry was obvious between them so he has now become a full time member.

They have been building a cult following around the Gold Coast Area and working on more originals with the aim to release an album, and play at more festivals.
