Put an acoustic guitar into Michael Fix’s hands and the emotional possibilities of music are suddenly released. This remarkable composer and musician has the power to capture and convey emotions and experiences with ease.
Over 30 years, he’s released twenty two albums, several DVD’s, songbooks, and EPs, and has established himself as one of Australia’s finest guitarists and composers, performing regularly at festivals across Australia, Europe, Asia, and writing music for television, film and documentaries.
He’s won numerous awards for his music, including three Golden Guitars, and, with his own signature Maton guitar, his guitar workshops are in high demand.

Bar notice: Just a heads-up that our bar is cash-only. But don’t worry, you can easily grab some cash at the front counter using your EFTPOS card. We’ve noticed a few puzzled faces when it comes to this setup, so we want to make sure everyone’s in the loop! This way, you won’t miss a beat (or a drink) during the performances.
